Commissioned Work...All Your Answers About Services
Starting with...
BOOK ILLUSTRATION
Please contact me at artbykasteen@gmail.com with your inquiry if you are interest in cover art or book illustrations. I enjoy working with traditional publishers and have also self-published several books. If you would like to self-publish your book and have me illustrate it, please tell me in your email why you think I should illustrate your story, what from my portfolio you are drawn to, as well as attaching a sample of your manuscript. I am eager to work with you! You can find my portfolio here: https://kerstinfletcher.com/portfolio
GICLEE PRINTS AND ORIGINAL PAINTINGS
I also offer giclee prints and original pieces here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtByKasteen. What is a giclee print? It is a high quality archival fine art digital print , affordable and very close to the original. If an original painting is not in your budget but you would like to own a piece of fine art, this is the way to go!
Originals are also available, with some listed here (feel free to check with me with my newest offerings): https://artbykasteen.blogspot.com/2018/07/available-paintings.html
COMMISSIONED PAINTINGS
An original commission painting makes a very special gift for any occasion: baby's birth, birthday, baby shower, Christmas, wedding, anniversary, or just to support the arts. I would love to work with you to create a unique piece and make your vision come true for you or for your loved one. You can view some examples of my commissioned work here https://artbykasteen.wixsite.com/artbykasteen/commissions
How does this exciting process work?
Just send me an inquiry with your idea...for example, your thoughts on medium (oil, acrylic, watercolor, graphite), size, subject matter, and your location (pick up or where the work will be shipped). Attach multiple reference photos of good quality that you would like for me to work from, or set up a time for us to meet and for me to take reference photos (an extra fee is involved in this). Detail is so important so that I can produce what you desire. I will send you a “work in progress” proof before the final payment is due if you would like this in the event that any changes need to be made. I accept PayPal or Venmo to process online payments for commissioned works.
Payment: 50% of the total price is required at the time of your order. The remainder of the payment is due at time of pick up or once the work is completed (if work is to be shipped). You can also pay in full up front.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING: I will let you know the shipping and handling fee on commissioned orders. The remaining balance must be paid before work is shipped. The work will be carefully packed and shipped via USPS with a tracking number. Please allow 5-7 days for arrival.

Sketches and Oils...Oh My!
Graphite sketches are such a wonderful way to capture life and creation in a monochromatic way that is so beautiful in its simplicity.
As I continue to figure out what supplies I have and what I need, I started this new oil landscape.
