Lavender

Since it is May, I was hankering to do a lavender painting.  It is acrylic, 11x14 on canvas.  Here is the underpainting and initial steps...

Commissioning Work

I've been asked how someone goes about commissioning work.  Well, I just need to know size and medium, and have reference photos (either taken by me or sent to me).  Then off I go to paint!

I love how the kids are hot from a hike and finding treasure in the summer of the Sierras.  It was a challenge to do it in watercolor, but I like it!
