I'm going to be the Artist of the Month for May at Shoffeitt's. I'll be there Saturday, May 1st, from 1-5...thinking about doing quick sketches like this (1/2 hour for a $30 painting). I'm going to have paintings for sale as well.

A new painting.

I tried to work on this drab landscape differently, i.e. ADD COLOR! I wanted it to be freely flowing and have bold brush strokes and life. It's not realistic, but it's growing on me.

Sunset Lily

I just finished this little painting--really fun because of the sunset colors and funky fence!
